beautiful british columbia

So... I arrived safe and sound in V-town last night. Mark has a wonderful character home in the lovely neighbourhood of Kitsilano. Everything here is green, lush, and fresh. Even the air smells clean.

I didn't want to waste any time this morning so I got up early and ventured off into the surrounding neighboorhood. English Bay is nearly a stone's throw away from the house, so I spent most of the morning strolling along the shoreline, taking the time to absorb the backdrop of clear blue skies and snow-capped mountains. I found a comfortable bench along the beach which I shared with a friendly black cat named Floyd. Then I found a record store and purchased tickets for the Sunset Rubdown show this Sunday. It = going to be good amazing. (I also found out that Islands, accompanied with Cadence Weapon, will be playing next week) Double true!!

Mark's got dinners (all-you-can-eat brazilian beef for $20 - served on a sword!!) and parties planned for the rest of the week, so I think I'm just going to chill and hopefully the geologists will have some work for me next week.

Word.

Happy 26th Birthday Markie!
