keepin' it riel

the best thing about long weekends is the short week that follows. i can't believe tomorrow is thursday already!

i'm especially jacked 'cause i just bought a pair of tickets for the Architecture in Helsinki show on friday night... which i will be attending with a lovely gal i met in kelowna over the weekend... it should be good times!!

anyways, i hope everybody enjoyed their respective holidays... it looks like Shane managed to catch at least one fish over the weekend (although that little thing sure ain't Husky the Musky...)

here are a few highlights from my may long in K-town:

** as we departed for the weekend, Mark's car died (ironically) near a town called Hope where we were fortunate enough to hitch a ride
** enjoyed a pirate-themed party all weekend long ( i still have a "treasure map" tatoo near my left kidney)
** feasted on a pig roast all weekend long
** fired off some shotguns and rifles on top of a hill (my first time!)
** watched my buddy Dave attempt to kayak down a raging creek without any kayaking experience (result = kayak totalled, dave o.k.)
** ambulance/firetrucks showed up twice b/c of our various shenanigans

now it's time to get some rest.
