i have always been here before


13th floor elevators - you're gonna miss me

i remember first hearing this tune in the film High Fidelity back in the day but never thought to seek it out. recently, i stumbled upon this clip and can't stop watching it. i don't know what i love more; roky erickson's howlin' and harmonica solo (plus the fact that he looks like james dean's evil twin brother) or the other guitarists creepy statue-like stare. i also really dig the "electric jug" which was apparently their trademark.
