singapore fling

we made it!

mark and i finally arrived in singapore at about 12:30 in the morning after a twenty hour flight. upon arrival, we were promptly greeted with a humid blast of tropical heat. tired and weary, we quickly grabbed a cab to our hostel (located in chinatown), where we slept like babies through the night.

this morning we enjoyed coffee and toast for breakfast and then went for a tour of the surrounding neighbourhood filled with tiny shops, cafes, karaokee bars, mosques, temples, etc... we made our way through the heat to another district known as Little India and then checked in to a different hostel where we are currently awaiting the arrival of our two other companions.

tonight should be a good reunion!!
