southern thailand was paradise. i regret that we didn't have more time to explore the rest of the country, but the time we did have in ko lanta and ko phangan was lush. we came across so many people that were travelling/living on the islands for 2, 6, 8 months or more. i was jealous. it would be easy to succumb to the beach life when it costs less than $20 a day to have shelter, food, beer, and transportation. "no worries, man!"
