unsolved mysteries

update: still alive.

mark and i are now on the island of koh phangan on the south-east side of thailand. (they filmed some of 'the beach' here). both aaron/matt have headed back to japan/korea and we'll be joining them in pusan on the 14th.

the past week has been very relaxing... lot's of reading, tonnes of frisbee action, many bowls of musamun, and more than my fair share of chang beers. our last day on lanta, we rented some kayaks and explored a few of the smaller surrounding islands on a guided-tour. unfortunately, my bamboo back prevented me from being the most productive paddler, but my thai partner easily picked-up the slack.

the bus/ferry ride across thailand to koh-phangan was long and hot. on the bright-side, we did meet a lot of friendly people from australia, wales, spain, and france along the way. hopefully we'll hook-up with some of them tonight at the half-moon party.
